  • Web Design Index

    Since its first edition in the year 2000, the annual Web Design Index has developed into one of the most important publications in its field. Every Web Design Index contains 1002 outstanding web pages.

    Web Design Index invited Tokyocube to contribute to their Web Design Index by Content 3 publication, which showcased the Tokyocube site across a 2 page feature.

  • Channel Bee

    Channelbee features a variety of content ranging from comic sketches to football shows to live music. Television presenter Tim Lovejoy hosts the channel, which broadcasts daily on the web.

    In the October 2008, Channelbee invited Tokyocube to contribute a variety of toys for their studio set. Tokyocube toys were featured on the ‘Lovejoy’s Bits’ program across September and October 2008.

  • Anorak Magazine

    Anorak, published 4 times a year, is a new unisex magazine for kids, designed to appeal to both boys and girls. Anorak has a unique format consisting of brand new stories written and illustrated by modern authors, fun fashion and style pages as well as a ‘good stuff’ guide which covers new products for kids.

    Anorak Magazine selected one of the plush dolls available on Tokyocube to be featured in its September 2008 issue. Anorak Magazine has a global readership, and also sells exclusively in London’s Tate Modern and Borders stores.

  • Tendencias

    Fashion. Music. Film. Design. And much more. Tendencias is the monthly mag that brings you the latest in leisure, culture and all that's new in the universe of cool.

    Tokyocube contributed to this Spanish magazine’s 2007 'Designer Toyz' feature, showcasing a number of designer toys available on Tokyocube. Tendencias is one of Spain’s most well respected streetwear / urban culture publications, featuring loads of cool editorials.

  • The Independent

    The Independent is a modern newspaper with a mission to take the broader view. Launched in 1986, this innovative newspaper with an ever-increasing circulation is changing the face of British national newspapers in the 21st century.

    In 2006, The Independent invited Tokyocube to contribute a selection of products for their ‘Teenage Kicks’ Christmas special magazine feature. Tokyocube was recommended as a unique online retailer for ‘presents with attitude’.

  • Netdiver Magazine

    Netdiver magazine is a design anywhere + digital culture magazine that uncovers, reviews and publishes outstanding work by the international community involved in the industry and beyond.

    Following Tokyocube’s inclusion in the 'Industrial' showcase of Netdiver Magazine during 2006 for the design of the Tokyocube Magazine site, Netdiver selected Tokyocube to be part of it's annual Best of the Year 2006 line-up for Tokyocube's website design.

  • Computer Arts Magazine

    Computer Arts is the one-stop shop for professional advice on creating digital art and illustrations. Computer Arts is well respected throughout the design industry, with an ever-growing global readership.

    Tokyocube was featured in the Computer Arts October 2006 issue, selected for the Online Heaven feature, showing the Tokyocube site among 5 others as the "month's round-up of the best of online design". We’re not totally sure about that, but thanks anyway!

  • BBC World Service

    The BBC Radio World Service is the most widely recognised international broadcaster, transmitting 24 hours a day in 33 languages to many parts of the world through multiple technologies, with an estimated weekly audience of 183 million.

    In September 2006, the BBC invited Tokyocube to contribute to their Culture Shock evening broadcast, discussing Japanese topics related to the Tokyocube magazine site. This was a unique opportunity to have the Tokyocube brand mentioned to one of the largest broadcast audiences available.

  • NewWebPick Magazine

    Newwebpick e-magazine is the world’s most distributed e-magazine for the creative industry, with a global readership in excess of 1.8 million.

    Tokyocube's designer, Tom Vining, was interviewed by this Hong Kong-based digital design magazine for their ‘Experimenters’ feature in Issue 6, in which the Tokyocube site, among other works, were showcased.

  • The Metro

    Commuters in 16 of Britain's major cities can pick up a free copy of Metro as they travel to work in the morning. Every weekday morning some 1.3 million copies are distributed across the UK making Metro the world's largest free newspaper and the fourth biggest newspaper in the UK.

    As part of the Metro's Christmas Shopping 2006 supplement, a number of products from the Tokyocube online shop were featured as unique gifts, one of which was also used on the front cover to headline the supplement.
